This week’s Photo Challenge is to find something that conveys the meaning of “through”. I hope you enjoy these shots I’ve taken looking through something…
You can join in each week too – check out the details at WordPress HERE
Here are some other entries you might like to check out:

Great choices! I love the scrap metal shot and the brick shot taken on campus. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Heather! The scrap metal shot reminds me of The James Bond intro. 🙂
you’ve composed a great slide show – I’ve been amused by the electric hairstyle in the blue plastic tube …
Haha, yes that hair is crazy isn’t it?
super shots, those bricks are really red!!!
Thanks Christine, the bricks are actually a rendered stencil on a concrete wall. The Architecture and Design Campus was built to feature lots of different techniques within the fabric of the building, so students can see examples all around them. Neat huh? Oh and the grass in this shot is artificial turf too.
Beautiful shots… 🙂
Thanks Eliz!
What a great collection Louise! the slide is lovely! you have well and truly met the challenge 🙂
Thanks Gilly, she wasn’t aware her hair was standing on end. I caught it as they emerged. 🙂

Love your slideshow, particularly the yellow wall of the Central Institute of Design!
Thanks Madhu! Yes, it’s pretty vibrant.
Love the hair in the tube slide!
Me too, that would be one of my faves I think.

What an interesting concept! I love your photos of looking “through” openings. I smiled seeing the electrified hair of the girl on the slide. The photos are wonderful.
Thanks Dez, I do like taking ‘through’ shots and framing objects. The hair is wild eh?
These are all great photos. Must learn how to do a ‘movie’ of my photographs like that.
Like a couple of other people have mentioned, I love the electric hair style in the blue slide photograph. For me though, my favourite – surprisingly – is the red brick photo. I think it must be to do with the strong brick design and the angles of the other wall.
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for visiting my Photo Challenge Blog. http://myphotoyear2012.wordpress.com/
Thanks Kate, the red bricks are on the east side of the building which opens on to a city park. The surface has an ‘anti-graffiti’ coating so it really keeps them clean and makes them stand out. It’s actually a brick stencil rendered on to a wall.
These are wonderful photos. I’d love to know if you had to choose one for this challenge, which would it be?

I love the stairs with the yellow framing/wall. These are all so cool!!!
Thanks Cee, there are lots of interesting angles, textures, surfaces and colours in the building. It’s great!
Well done! Love the clean lines and color.
